Small tractor clearing deep snow along a tree-lined path

Snow clearedbefore you leave

Seasonal contracts for driveways, walkways and steps, cleared early on snow days so you can get out the door.

What a snow contract covers

Driveway, front walk and steps, cleared every time snowfall passes the trigger depth, all winter.

A set trigger depth

We come out once 5 cm has fallen, and come back during long storms rather than waiting for them to end.

Early starts

Routes start before dawn so driveways are clear for the morning drive. During snowfall warnings the phone is answered from 4 am.

Walks to the pavement

Front walks and steps cleared by hand, edge to edge, not a single shovel-width path.

Ice control on request

Ice melt on steps and walks when temperatures swing, with a gentler product for homes with pets.

How the winter runs

From signing up in the fall to the last late storm in March.

  1. October

Contracts signed and each driveway walked so we know the edges, drains and obstacles.

  2. November

Marker stakes set along driveway edges before the first snow.

  3. Winter

Clearing after every snowfall past the trigger depth, early morning first.

  4. Spring

Stakes collected and gravel swept off lawns, and lawn season begins.

Snow removal questions

More answers on the FAQ page. Contracts fill up by route, so it's worth asking early in the fall.

How much snow before you come out?

5 cm on a standard contract. If you need clearing after lighter snowfalls, for example for a steep driveway, we can set a lower trigger.

Is it a seasonal price or per visit?

Both are available. A seasonal contract is one price for the winter however much it snows. Per-visit billing suits properties that only need clearing now and then.

Do I need to move my car?

We clear around parked vehicles, but a car left in the middle of the driveway means that strip gets cleared on the next visit instead.
